Team India hammered Sri Lanka with a massive 302-run win. It was the proudest moment for every Indian. Another victory was registered in India’s record book. They are the only unbeaten team in the tournament winning seven consecutive matches. Fans enjoyed every single moment of it.
The Whole stadium was supporting the team with their heart out. After winning the match, the entire Wankhede Stadium started chanting ‘Vande Mataram’. That was a goosebump moment. Every other fan who was in the stands started chanting that. That moment was heavenly for every match.
A Massive Win:
From the start to the end, India kept dominating their opponent. After winning the toss, Sri Lanka chose to bowl first. In the first innings, Rohit Sharma got out early. But Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli held the innings. They both showed the masterclass. Gill missed a well-deserved century. He got dismissed by 92 runs in 92 balls. Virat Kohli played a knock of 88 runs in 94 balls with 11 boundaries.
Shreyas Iyer was excellent. He played another excellent knock of 82 runs on 56 balls. He smashed 3 boundaries and 6 over-boundaries. Rahul walked away on 21 runs. Jadeja scored 35 runs. They scored 357/8.
In the second innings, the Indian bowlers were outstanding. They took wickets frequently. Mohammad Shami was excellent. He took five wickets in 18 runs. Mohammed Siraj took three wickets in 16 runs. Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja took one each. India registered a win of a massive 302 runs against Sri Lanka.
