Viral video: Babar Azam and Sarfaraz Ahmed enjoy Qawwali night ahead of Imam-Ul-Haq’s wedding

Former captain of the Pakistan cricket team and no. 2 ODI batter in ICC Rankings, Babar Azam and wicketkeeper batsman, Sarfaraz Ahmed was seen enjoying Qawwali night ahead of teammate Imam-Ul-Haq’s wedding in Lahore on November 23.

The video showing them enjoying the night has gone viral doing rounds on X (Formerly twitter). Both the former Pakistani captains were seen grooving and enjoying to the tunes of ‘Mera Piya Ghar aaya’ in the viral video. The batsman opener will host a wedding reception on November 26.

Babar Azam resigned from captaincy

On their professional front, Babar Azam recently resigned and stepped down from the position of captaincy after a poor World Cup campaign and is gearing up for tests in the Australia tour. On the other hand, Sarfaraz Ahmed was not included in the recent World Cup squad, who led Pakistan in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. 

Imam-Ul-Haq, whose wedding is all set to take place on November 25, was not in much form for most of the matches he played. In the later part of the Cricket World cup tournament, he was replaced by Fakhar Zaman.

Upcoming Tour

The Pakistan team will now return in action for their Australia test tour for which they will fly on November 30. All the three Pakistani players- Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Imam-Ul-Haq have been included in the test squad. The squad has already started preparing in full swing for the same event.
