Dressed in traditional attire, Gambhir offered prayers at the temple on the second day of Shardiya Navratri, seeking blessings for the Indian team.

For Gambhir, this visit symbolizes a spiritual gesture of seeking divine intervention for the upcoming series, aligning with the practice of athletes turning to faith for mental fortitude.

Temple officials honored Gambhir with a ceremonial welcome, and he performed special rituals as part of the religious proceedings. Commenting briefly after his prayers, Gambhir mentioned, “It’s important to stay connected to our roots and traditions. Navratri holds a special place in my heart, and I hope that the blessings of Maa Pitambara will guide us to victory.”
Upcoming T20I Series: India vs. Bangladesh
The Indian team is gearing up for the first T20I match, which is scheduled to take place on October 6 in Gwalior. The series will then continue with matches in Indore and Raipur on October 9 and October 12, respectively.
