India’s Last Performance:

The squad of India in this World Cup was the best. They performed outstandingly throughout the tournament. They defeated all the teams in the group stage and also cleared the semifinal stage. In the final stage, they met Australia. That match was disappointing. From that defeat, India’s wait for the World Cup trophy continued.

Being unbeaten, India qualified for the final. In the final stage, they met Australia to seal the trophy. In the first fixture, India met Australia and won the match, and started their World Cup journey. On November 19, the same scenario was created again. Initially, after winning the toss, Australia opted to field first. India didn’t have a desired start. Shubman Gill walked away scoring 4 runs. Rohit Sharma missed a half-century and got out on 47 runs. Virat scored another half-century. KL Rahul played a responsible knock of 66 runs. After 50 overs, India set a target of 241.
