Mumbai won the toss and while batting first, they lost the first two wickets quickly. Chamari Athapathuthu picked up 2 wickets early. Rajeshawri Gayakwad broke the crucial partnership between Natalie Sciver-Brunt and Harmanpreet Kaur. She dismissed Brunt on 45 runs. After that Saima Thakor got Harmanpreet Kaur. Deepti Sharma got one wicket. They stopped Mumbai in 160 runs.
