Yash Dayal’s Maiden Call-Up to Pant’s Red-Ball Return, BCCI Announced Squad for the First Test Against Bangladesh

Before stepping into the Test series, BCCI announced a power-packed squad. After a long, Rishabh Pant is making a return to the Test arena. With a twist, Yash Dayal got his maiden call-up for India.

After a long, Test match thrills are coming back to India. From September 19, India is all set to face Bangladesh in a two-match Test series. Ahead of this, Team India named their 16-men squad. After losing the ODI series against Sri Lanka last month, Rohit Sharma is back to lead the team. Yashasvi Jaiswal also got a place in the squad. 

Shubman Gill and KL Rahul have also been named in the squad. After missing the entire Test series against England, Virat Kohli is coming back into the Test team. Sarafraz Khan has also been named to the team. While making his debut against England this year, the talented middle-order batter set the stage on fire. 

The fans received the biggest good news as Rishabh Pant made his way into the Test squad. After his horrific accident, he returned to competitive cricket through IPL 2024. Now he is all set to grace the Test format once again. In the first match of the ongoing Duleep Trophy, he played an exceptional knock of 61 runs in 47 deliveries. He is set for a remarkable comeback. Along with him, another wicketkeeper-batter Dhuruv Jurel has also been named in the squad.
