He is set for a remarkable comeback. Along with him, another wicketkeeper-batter Dhuruv Jurel has also been named in the squad.

The bowling lineup showcases the perfect blend of fresh talents with some experienced bowlers. The legendary Ashwin-Jadeja duo is back to strengthen the bowling lineup. Axar Patel is also gracing the list. After being a crucial part of Team India’s T20 World Cup win, Jasprit Bumrah is coming back in the longest format.
Mohammad Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav have also been named in the squad. Young pacer Yash Dayal gets his maiden call-up for India. Playing for India B in the ongoing Duleep Trophy, the bowlers performed impressively taking 4 wickets in both innings.
The squad contains another crucial name. Aakashdeep also got a chance to represent his nation again. After making a debut against England in Ranchi earlier this year, the bowler rose through the rank. While playing for India A, he performed exceptionally well taking 9 wickets in both innings.
