She is now receiving congratulations worldwide, including from legendary cricketer Virender Sehwag.

Manu Made India Proud:

On Sunday, Manu Bhaker made history by winning India’s first medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She earned a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol final, ending a 12-year wait for a shooting medal at the Games. Bhaker also became the first Indian woman to win a shooting medal.

In the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, the 22-year-old was devastated when her pistol malfunctioned during the qualification round of the same event. This setback brought her to tears and was a significant disappointment.

Despite this, Bhaker made a remarkable comeback. In 2023, she considered retiring but chose to persevere. She fought hard to secure an Olympic quota and then won a medal, showing her resilience and determination.
