IPL 2025: Yuvraj Singh likely to replace Ashish Nehra as the head coach in Gujarat Titans. GT’s director of cricket Vikram Solanki to also take exit from the team according to the new reports. Nehra and Solanki have been with the Gujarat Titans since their debut season in 2022, during which they won the title and made it to the finals again in 2023.
Gary Kirsten, the mentor for GT is set to take up a full time position in the Pakistan Cricket Team. As per CricketNext, GT are in discussions with former India player Yuvraj Singh to join the coaching staff, although no final decision has been made.

Following a strong debut in the IPL, the Titans had a disappointing 2024 season, finishing eighth under their new captain, Shubman Gill. Aashish Kapoor, Naeem Amin, Narender Negi, and Mithun Manhas are also on the support staff, with some possibly seeking opportunities elsewhere.
“There are likely to be many changes. Ashish Nehra and Vikram Solanki are probably moving on, and discussions about Yuvraj Singh have begun. While nothing is confirmed, we may see some major changes in the Gujarat Titans’ coaching staff,” says the report quoting a source.
Ex Head Coach Rahul Dravid to join Rajasthan Royals
Rahul Dravid is expected to return to the Rajasthan Royals as head coach. He has a history with the franchise, having played for them and served as their mentor in the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
After his role as a mentor, Dravid worked with the Indian cricket team, coaching the U-19 and A teams, then moving to the NCA, and eventually becoming the head coach of the senior team.
Rahul has recently finished his stint with the Indian cricket team, taking the men in blue to victory in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Indian won the first ICC cup since 2013, when they won the Champions Trophy.
