The Kashmir Women Cricket League 2024 wrapped up with great flair at Sher-I-Kashmir Cricket Stadium on August 8th, showcasing local talent. Yuzvendra Chahal made a special appearance and was later photographed with army personnel, with the image going viral.

Chahal Clincked With Army Personnel:

After the T20 World World Cup win, Team India received a heroic welcome at home. Yuzvendra Chahal was one of the members of the World Cup-winning squad. After that, he is now off from any cricketing duty. At that time, he was seen in another role. Jammu and Kashmir witnessed an exciting edition of the Kashmir Women Cricket League 2024. In the final match of the tournament, the Indian bowler made a special appearance. 

Along with that, he was seen spending time with the Indian Army.  Chahal’s picture with some personnel has gone viral. The bowler posted some pictures of spending his time with India’s real heroes. He shared a few pictures with them and penned down a note. 

On his social media handle, he wrote, “It has been an honor to spend time here in the esteemed company of these distinguished gentlemen. This experience is truly beyond words. The profound pride I feel as an Indian, being able to witness and share in the nation’s honor is magnified by the presence of the brave men who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe. Jai Hind.”

His Appreciation for Kashmir Women’s Cricket League:

 The Kashmir Women Cricket League 2024 wrapped up in grand style at Sher-I-Kashmir Cricket Stadium on August 8th.  The final match saw Anantnag Rebels face off against Srinagar Knights in an exciting game that thrilled the crowd. Anantnag Rebels won the championship title in a high-energy contest.

The closing ceremony featured notable guests, including Chief Justice (A) of J&K Shri Tashi Rabstan, DGP Jammu and Kashmir RR Swain, and GOC 31 Sub Area. Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal also attended, adding star appeal and excitement to the event.

Later on, he appreciates the tournament. On his social media handle, he write, “Incredible energy here at the Kashmir women’s cricket league. So glad to be a part of this amazing initiative by Indian Army promoting women cricket and empowering women presence in Jammu & Kashmir.”
