Today, Mumbai faced Baroda in the quarterfinal stage in Chandigarh. That moment happened while Baroda was chasing the target. In the 12th over, Shams Mulani bowled a full-length delivery to Baroda batter Vishnu Solanki. He tapped the ball. Ajinkya Rahane was standing at short cover. Solanki asks Krunal for a quick single. At that moment, Rahane dived and threw a sharp delivery to the wicketkeeper. Krunal Pandya tried well but fell short to reach the crease.

Baroda Snatched the Win:
In the quarterfinal stage, Mumbai faced Baroda in Chandigarh. Mumbai batted first. In the beginning, Mumbai lost two quick wickets. Yashasvi Jaiswal got out on 8 runs. Jay Bista dismissed on a duck. Skipper Rahane scored 13 runs in 11 balls. Hardik Tamore scored 26 runs in just 20 balls. Shivam Dube is half-century just by 2 runs. He scored 48 runs in 36 balls. After 20 overs, Mumbai scored 148/8.
Baroda bowlers have done a great job. Soyeb Sopariya took 3 wickets in just 3 runs. Abhimanyu Singh Rajput took 2 crucial wickets in 36 runs. Lukman Meriwala took 1 wicket in 18 runs and skipper Krunal Pandya took 1 wicket in 18 runs.
In the second innings, Baroda started decently. Jyotsnil Singh scored 34 runs in 25 balls. Ninad Rathva scored 11 runs in 9 balls. Abhimanyu Singh Rajput scored 27 runs in 21 balls. Vishnu Solanki remained unbeaten on 49 runs in 30 balls. In 18.5 overs, they scored 149/7 and secured Baroda’s win. Now, Baroda secured their semifinal entry.
