The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the 16-member India Women’s ODI squad for the three-match series against Australia, starting December 5. 

Harmanpreet Kaur will continue to lead the side, while Smriti Mandhana serves as her deputy.

Shafali Verma, who has been struggling with form, has been dropped.

She managed only 56 runs in the recent series against New Zealand. All-rounder Shreyanka Patil also missed out, having been sidelined due to shin splints.

Harleen Deol, last seen in ODIs during the Australia series in 2023, has made her return. 

With 207 runs from 10 ODIs, her consistent domestic performances earned her this comeback.
