ENG Vs IND: Ravindra Jadeja’s Bat Features a Symbol of “Marwadi Stallion”, a Rare Breed of Horses

With Team India registering its 6th consecutive win of the ongoing tournament against last time World Cup champions England, the Men in Blue emerged stronger than ever as they won the game by a margin of 100 runs. The action-packed match was held at the Ekana Sports City in Lucknow with England now finishing last on the ICC Rankings Table. After having won the toss, England opted to bowl first with India scoring 229 runs with a loss of 9 wickets. England’s David Willey took a 3-wicket haul dismissing three Indian batters. While on the other hand,  England could not even chase above 130-mark and got restricted within 129 runs with the vicinity of Mohammad Shami who had the hero with the ball taking a 4-wicket haul.

Indian batsman yet again reckoned on their match-winning batting skills with Rohit Sharma smashing a brilliant knock 87 runs off 101 deliveries, then with KL Rahul at 39 off 58 and finally Suryakumar Yadav who made a potential comeback having scored 49 from 47 balls. Ravindra Jadeja, the masterful all-rounder came out to bat following Rohit Sharma’s dismissal. It was spotted that Jadeja’s bat featured a symbol of “Marwadi Stallion”, a rare breed of horses as he came out to bat in the first innings. Earlier also, a picture got viral on the internet where Jadeja was seen posing with his batbat pointing to the symbol.

For the rest, Jadeja is extensively fond of horses and that too with this breed named “Marwadi Stallion”, from the Marwar region in Rajasthan, mainly in Jodhpur. It was at the 38th over when Jadeja came out to bat and cameras on field spotted the symbol beneath his bat. The Men in Blue are now ready to face Sri Lanka on November 2 and then their counterpart South Africa, the next top-tier team on the rankings which is scheduled for November 5.
