Batting first, India recovered well after a shaky start to post a challenging total of 181/8 in their 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav top-scored with 53 runs off just 28 balls, showcasing his aggressive batting prowess. Hardik Pandya contributed a valuable 32 runs from 24 deliveries, while Virat Kohli made 24 runs off 24 balls.
In response, Afghanistan struggled to keep up with the required run rate and eventually finished with 134 runs, losing all their wickets in 20 overs.
