The Unfortunate Dismissal:
After winning their respective matches, India A and India D are locking horns at the Rural Development Trust Stadium in Anantapura. Team D has been in trouble since the beginning. While batting in the second innings, they lost their first wicket only in the third over. After that, Yash Dubey and Ricky Bhui maintained a thrilling partnership but an unfortunate dismissal ended that too.
The incident occurred on the fifth ball of the 30th over. Ricky Bhui used his feet to drive Shams Mulani’s delivery down the ground for a single. At the non-striker’s end, Yash Dubey failed to lift his bat in time as the ball deflected towards the stumps.
Seeing Dubey out of his crease, Mulani quickly seized the opportunity. He gathered the ball and removed the bails, running Dubey out. Dubey, who was dismissed for 37 runs, was found short of his crease, leading to his unfortunate exit from the game.
