IPL 2023: Watch Trent Boult’s toe-crushing yorker to dismiss Abhishek Sharma 

Trent Boult is one of the most dangerous bowlers with the new ball. Trent Boult is widely regarded as one of the most skillful and lethal fast bowlers in world cricket today. Winning the toss, SRH Captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar decided to bowl first. Batting first, Rajasthan Royals put up a mammoth total of 203 in their 20 overs. Captain Sansu Samson and openers Jos Butler and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored brilliant fifties for Rajasthan. Abhishek Sharma and Mayank Agarwal took the opening guard for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The openers were looking to go big but Boult had other plans. 

Boult bowls a peach

It was the first over of the second innings. Boult had bowled two dots earlier. On the third ball, Trent Boult showcased his brilliance by bowling a sensational out-swinging yorker to dismiss SRH opener, Abhishek Sharma. Boult’s delivery was nothing short of a peach, as it started on the middle and leg stump and swung away at the last moment, beating Abhishek’s attempted dig-out and knocking back the off-stump. Boult’s skill and precision were on full display as he got the better of the talented young batsman with ease. 

Abhishek’s positioning also helped Boult’s cause, as he was slightly leg-side of the ball, making it even harder for him to get his bat down in time. With this wicket, Boult set the perfect start for Rajasthan Royals, putting them on the front foot right from the first over. Cricket experts and fans were in awe of Boult’s incredible delivery, with many hailing it as one of the best of the tournament so far. It was a testament to Boult’s ability to swing the ball both ways and execute the perfect yorker when it mattered the most. 

Boult further removed Rahul Tripathi on the fifth ball of the same over to make Sunrisers’ score 0 for 2 wickets.
