Kamindu Mendis Makes History with Twin Centuries from No.7 or Below in the Test Match Against Bangladesh

In the first Test match, of the two-match Test series,  Sri Lanka is in a great position. Sri Lankan player, Kamindu Mendis becomes the first player in history to score a twin century at No.7 or below in a Test match. That is an incredible record in the longest format of cricket. 

The Incredible Record by Kamindu Mendis:

In the first innings of the first Test match, Sri Lanka was under pressure. They lost wickets quickly. But then Dhananjaya de Silva and Kamindu Mendis came to the rescue and made a great partnership. While batting at number 7, Kamindu Mendis completed his first century. He played an excellent knock of 102 runs in 127 balls. His innings was included with 11 boundaries and 3 over-boundaries. 

He started batting in the second innings where he left in the first one. While batting at number 8, he got another hundred. She is still fighting remaining unbeaten on 116 runs in 203 balls. Depending on his mighty knock, Sri Lanka is fighting hard. Kamindu Mendis makes history, becoming the first player ever to score twin centuries at No. 7 or lower in a Test match. This is an incredible record.

Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have met in a two-match Test series. After winning the toss, Bangladesh opted to bowl first. After winning the toss, Bangladeshi bowlers were dominating the opponent. The first few batters were dismissed yearly. But Dhananjaya de Silva and Kamindu Mendis both got a hundred. De Silva played a knock of 102 runs in 131 balls with 12 boundaries and 1 over-boundary. On the other hand, 102 runs in 127 balls including 11 boundaries and 3 over boun0daries. They got all out in 28 runs.
