The seventh match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season is scheduled to be played today at the Chepauk Stadium, featuring the host team Chennai Super Kings and the Lucknow Super Giants. The all-rounder, who is playing for Lucknow Super Giants, has been a consistent performer in the IPL and has played an integral role in his team’s success over the years. Interestingly, the player who holds the record for playing the most IPL matches, MS Dhoni, is also playing in the same match against Krunal’s team. The Chennai Super Kings captain has played a staggering 235 IPL matches, which is a testament to his longevity and consistency in the league. Krunal started his IPL Journey alongside his younger brother Hardik Pandya for the Mumbai Indians. He spent a formidable amount of time there before joining the Lucknow Super Giants camp last season. Krunal is one of the few players who have scored 1000+ runs and taken 50+ wickets. Before today’s game, Krunal has scored 1341 runs at an average of 22.73 and has taken 61 wickets at an economy rate of 7.31 in 99 games.
