Marsh to miss the IPL for a week
According to Cricbuzz, Mitchell Marsh will miss one week of IPL 2023 action when he travels to Australia for his wedding. Since April and May are Australia’s off-season months, most players get married after they have finished their professional obligations.
DC may substitute Rovman Powell in the starting XI for Marsh if he is not present. If included, the West Indies T20I captain might bat in the lower middle order.
The opening combination of David Warner and Prithvi Shaw will remain the same. They will start the game. Warner contributed significant hits in both games, but his strike rate has been subpar. Shaw, however, has not yet played a significant knock. He has accomplished 12 and 7.
For Delhi, the game against Rajasthan is crucial since another loss will give them three straight losses. Their NRR is only -1.703, which is subpar.
