The World Cup is just ringing the bell. The biggest competition in cricket is just 15 days ahead. All the teams are gearing up well. For the big tournament, all teams are introducing their new jersey. This time New Zealand revealed their new jersey for the World Cup. The New Zealand Cricket Board has released their new jersey on Twitter. In that picture, Tom Latham, Trent Boult, and Lockie Ferguson are seen wearing the jersey.
Details of the jersey:
The color of the jersey is black and there are some stripes in the second half of the t-shirt. They have a logo for the 2023 World Cup on the extreme right and a silver fern is on the left. Kiwis are all set to take the challenges on the big stage wearing this classy black outfit. Their first clash will be against former World champion England. Finally, the wait is over for them and they are all set to take the revenge.
New Zealand before the big tournament:
Before the World Cup in the ODI series against England, Kiwi faced a defeat by 3-1. This was a big boost for England. Before the World Cup, it is time for Kiwis to learn from those mistakes.
Just before the World Cup, New Zealand will be playing against Bangladesh from September 21. Lockie Ferguson will be leading the side in that series. The best news for the Kiwis before the World Cup is Kane Williamson has returned to the action.
Star bowler Tim southee injured his right thumb while fielding in 4th ODI against England. This is a set bck for them. Kiwis are coming to India soon. Before the World Cup they will plat two warm up matches. First one is on 29th September against Pakistan and second one is against South Africa on 2nd october.
