KKR purchased the Aussie legend Mitchell Starc with a whopping amount of 24.75 crore. But in between this, Punjab Kings create a controversy that grabs the limelight. 

As the auction was going on, Shashank Singh’s name came. PBKS bid for the youngster at the base price of 20 Lakhs. It was confirmed that PBKS bought him. But they opposed it after some time as they didn’t buy him. That created confusion. But their hammer was up in the air so the player added to their squad. That little controversy grabs the limelight.
