Sachin Tendulkar Carried the World Cup Trophy to the Podium, Fans become Emotional

The final day has arrived. ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is finally on the big stage. England and New Zealand are locking horns at  Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. This is the inaugural match of the tournament. In the last edition, England beat New Zealand and won their maiden World Cup trophy. Before starting the match, Sachin Tendulkar was seen with the World Cup trophy. That moment was caught on the camera. 

New Feather in Tendulkar’s crown:

India is the host of the 2023 World Cup. The tournament will be played all over the country. Excitements are already at their best. The excitement is leveled up by an announcement of ICC. ICC appointed Sachin Tendulkar as ‘ ICC Global Ambassador for Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.” This is the reason why Sachin Tendulkar walked into the ground carrying the trophy. After that, he put that on the podium.

This Indian great has been part of six World Cups. He won the maiden World Cup in 2011. This was his last World Cup. He has done so much for Indian cricket. He scored many runs and helped to earn India a lot of Wins. As this was his last World Cup, the whole team and all the citizens of India wished to win it only for him. That dream came true. India ends the 2011 World Cup campaign by lifting the trophy.

He scored 14 out of 24 balls with 2 boundaries. In the 13th over Jonny Bairstow scored 33 in 35 balls. He smashed 4 boundaries and one over-boundary. On a delivery of Mitchell Santner, he got out. Right now England is 70/2 in 14.1 overs.

Kiwi bowlers are in a great rhythm. Matt Henry and Mitchell Santner took 2 wickets. Trent Boult has not taken any wickets but gave 33 runs in 5 overs.
