Entire India is celebrating the arrival of Lord Ganesha. The citizens of India are celebrating the joy of the Ganesh Chaturthi. Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar attended the Ganesh Puja celebrations at Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s residence on Friday evening. His presence made it even more special.
Sachin Tendulkar Visited Ekant Shinde’s Ganesh Puja:
Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations are taking place across India, and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar participated in Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Ganesh Puja at his residence. Dressed in traditional Indian attire, Tendulkar joined the festivities. Tendulkar received a special shawl, an idol, and a bouquet of flowers at Shinde’s residence as an honor.
He respectfully bowed to the idol and offered flowers during the prayer. After completing his prayers, Tendulkar took time to interact with the people present at the event. His presence at the celebration added to the joy and significance of the occasion.

Other Guests at the Celebration:
Apart from Sachin Tendulkar, several guests came from different parts of the world. Those guests grace the auspicious occasion. Union Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju also attended the Ganesh Puja at Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s residence. His participation highlighted the event’s significance and added to the celebration.
Earlier in the day, Ganesh Aarti saw participation from foreign diplomats representing many countries. Diplomats from Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, USA, Yemen, South Korea, Chile, China, Mexico, Germany, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Bahrain, and Belarus were among those who joined the festivities. Their presence underscored the global appeal and cultural importance of the occasion.
After that, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde made a post on social media. He wrote, “A traditional Maharashtrian feast was organized specifically for these guests. The ambassadors from various countries enthusiastically enjoyed the Ganesh Festival and also savoured the steamed modaks, which are lord Ganesha’s favorite offerings.”
