Devisha’s earnest wish for her husband
Among all the wishes, his wife Devisha Shetty’s heart touching note for her husband made all the fans literally go ‘aww’. While wishing Surya on his birthday, Devisha took to her Instagram handle and quoted a beautiful caption for him that stated-

Surya’s current position in the team
Suryakumar was not seen playing any of the matches of the Asia Cup 2023. Though he is in Sri Lanka on India’s side for the Asia Cup, he didn’t play a single match against any of the Asian countries.
The reason which stands is that the Board wanted to try other players on the field and test more and more options. There’s a possibility that Surya can play against Bangladesh today, given the fact that India has already qualified into the finals. At this moment, it is imperative that some players like Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and even Rohit Sharma who performed very well in the past matches can be put to rest ahead of finals.
Fortunately, Surya has been already named in the Playing XI squad of the World Cup. Fans are hoping that he performs well in the upcoming match so that he can translate his ODI scores into success.
