India’s World Cup journey has finally started. India is facing Australia in Chennai in their first match of the World Cup. Fans are cheering their heart out. India gave an amazing start. Bowlers got their job done easily. They dominated in the first innings. The bowlers stopped Australia in 199 runs. Terrific bowling and amazing fielding are the key points of the success. This is the first match of both India and Australia. Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. David Warner gave a good start. He scored 41 in 52 balls. He smashed 6 boundaries in the match. Indian bowlers were on a roll. Mitchell Marsh got out on a duck. Smith missed his fifty just by 4 runs. He scored 46 in 71 balls. After him, no batters could stand in front of the bowlers. Mitchell Starc scored 28 in 35 balls. They got all out in just 199 runs.
Indian bowlers just took the innings away. Jasprit took the first success to the team. Then Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets in 28 runs. Kuldeep Yadav picked up 2 wickets in 42 runs. Jasprit Bumrah ended with 2 wickets in 35 runs. Siraj, Hardik, and Ashwin took one each.
In the second innings, India had a horrible start. In 2 runs, India lost three wickets. Ishan Kishan got out first. Then Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer got out. After that, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul held the innings. They are playing responsibly. The duo got half-centuries and they are getting stronger.
