In a heartwarming revelation, Tilak Varma, a rising cricket star, shared his incredible journey of meeting his idol, Suresh Raina. Varma recollected their first encounter during the CL T20, where he served as a ball boy. Admiring Raina’s skills, he expressed his desire to emulate him.
“I met Suresh Raina for the first time in CL T20 when I was a ball boy, I always wanted to be like him,” Varma said.
Last year, when they crossed paths again, Varma conveyed his admiration to Raina, who generously offered invaluable advice. Since then, Raina has been texting Varma after every match, leaving him with a sense of elation.
“When I met him last year I told this to him, he advised me a lot & that helped me a lot, now he text me after every match, it feels so good,” he further added.
