The WPL 2024 is coming soon. The auction for this tournament is coming close. Excitements are gearing up for this tournament. UP Warriorz has announced something new for the upcoming season. They become the first WPL team to announce a documentary on their WPL inaugural season. That is an exciting initiative.
This is a star-studded team. This Lucknow-based team is owned by Capri Global. Alyssa Healy is the captain of the team. Jon Lewis is the coach of the team. In the 2023 season, they performed extremely well. Unfortunately, in the eliminator, they faced a defeat against the Mumbai Indians.
WPL 2024:
The WPL 2024 is coming close. Before the season commences, the auction will be held on December 9 in Mumbai. The second season of this tournament is hoped to take place from February to March. The retention process is already done. The 60 players are retained by the franchises and 29 players are released by the franchises.
