Uthappa Smashes 65 Runs in 35 Balls Against Australia Champions in the Second Semifinal of WCL

The cricket world is witnessing an eventful day at the World Championship of Legends. The nostalgia has come to an end as the fans are witnessing the second semifinal match between India Champions and Australia Champions. While batting in the first innings, India started exceptionally well. While opening the innings, Robin Uthappa played an amazing knock of 65 runs, and that boosted the innings. 

Uthappa’s Flying Start:

At the beginning of the World Championship of Legends, India Championship gave an exciting start. Even after facing setbacks in the previous few matches, India made their way into the semifinal match. While opening the innings, India gave a great start. Even if Ambati Rayudu was dismissed early, Utthappa played the anchor role.

But Yuvraj Singh’s fiery innings was another highlight of the match. While batting at the number four position. He scored an outstanding half-century only in 26 balls. He played a knock of 51 runs in 28 balls along with 4 boundaries and 5 over-boundaries. 

The Pathan brothers also scored half-centuries. Irfan Pathan played a knock of 50 runs in 19 balls. Yusuf Pathan remained unbeaten scoring 51 runs in 23 balls till the end. By those extraordinary knocks Team India put on a score of 254-6 in 20 overs.
