After a dramatic T20I series against England, the Indian National cricket team is all set for yet another blast in the ODI series. This three-match series might see some exciting debutants donning Indian jerseys. Even captain Virat Kohli mentioned about the same in the press conference ahead of the first match.
SKY to have ODI debut
Suryakumar Yadav had a fine T20I outing in the recently concluded series against England. This is why it seems his debut is on the cards now. Also, this year is all about World Test Championship and T20 World Cup. While the 50-over format is not in the highlight much, the Indian national cricket team will utilize the opportunity to experiment as much as possible. Yadav’s heroics in the IPL and domestic cricket has been great too to get him a call for the national side.
From the very first ball he faced, he started showing his class and talent. Also, he started with 57 runs off just 31 balls followed by a crucial cameo of 32 runs to help India put a mammoth total on board in the series decider. No wonder, he is expected to get a chance in the ODI series as well.

Kohli on Youngsters
Captain of Indian National Cricket team Virat Kohli, speaking about the youngsters, said, “It’ll be interesting because there are a few youngsters finding an opportunity in the one-day set-up for the first time. I’m very keen to see how they go about executing their skills against a strong England side.”
There are a few exciting names are in the bench apart from Yadav. while Krunal Pandya already has the taste of international cricket, thanks to T20I venture, for Prasidh Krishna this is the first international series. These two made it to the squad after incredible Vijay Hazare Trophy this year. Krishna has been a prominent name in the domestic circuit for last few seasons due to his good show. Along with Yadav, these two are expected to get the India cap in this ODI series as well.
