Hasan Mahmud, a 24-year-old fast bowler from Bangladesh, has garnered attention after a stellar performance against India in the first Test match at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Hasan Mahmud Debut

Hasan Mahmud made a strong impression during the Bangladesh cricket season. Called into the nets to bowl to experienced batters like Shakib al Hasan, Mushfizur Rahman, and Litton Das, the lanky pacer displayed his skills and troubled the seasoned players.

Having debuted in international cricket in March 2020, Hasan quickly rose through the ranks. Initially excelling in limited-overs cricket, he made his Test debut against Sri Lanka earlier this year. His career highlights include a five-wicket haul against Pakistan in August.

In just four Test matches, Hasan has taken 14 wickets at an average of 25. His bowling statistics across formats are impressive, with 30 wickets in 22 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 18 wickets in 18 T20I games.
