After South Africa’s innings ended, South Africa’s skipper Aiden Markram caught up in the mid-innings and talked about the game and the score they put up on board.

Skipper Aiden Markram said, “ We will take it (total). Decent wicket, it changed throughout from first ten to the last ten overs. We would have taken it (the total) at the start of the game if we were offered 190+. We’ve been lacking that (partnership at the top). Nice to have a partnership with him and set it up. They bowled pretty well in the latter half, credit to them. Happy for the top order to eventually contribute. Hopefully two spinners can get a bit more out of the pitch. Definitely stopped a bit more in the second half. Strong breeze to the short side has to be in the tactics.”
