They were limited to 190 in the match against Lucknow Super Giants and were defeated by 5 wickets. LSG chased the target in just 16.1 overs.

In the next match, the SRH batting lineup collapsed even further. It was played against the Delhi Capitals. Thanks to a half-century from young Aniket Verma, they were able to reach a respectable score of 163 runs. They lost that match as DC chased it easily with 4 overs remaining. Against KKR, SRH received an even bigger drubbing. KKR scored 200, and SRH was chasing for the first team in the season. They ended up with an embarrassing 120 on the board as they couldn’t even stick for 20 overs.

The Gujarat Titans have had a completely different story so far. They have played 3 games so far and have won 2 of them. Unlike SRH, they started the season with a defeat. They were blown away by the Punjab Kings in the first place. Batting first, PBKS scored 243 runs. In reply, GT batters did well but could only score 232 runs.

They lost the match by 11 runs. However, GT have won both their games since then. First, they defeated the Mumbai Indians in Ahmedabad. GT scored an impressive 196 batting first. Then, they restricted Mumbai to just 160 to win the match by 36 runs. Next up, they won against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Bengaluru. This time, they fielded first, and RCB could score only 169 runs. GT chased it down qith 13 balls to spare.
