After Pakistan faced a whitewash in their last home Test series against Bangladesh, Pakistan is facing England in a three-match Test. The first match has unfolded in Multan Cricket Stadium. While batting in the first innings, Pakistan showcased their batting excellence and put on a huge total of 556 runs. England batters are also showcasing their excellence. 

Young English batter Harry Brook has also completed a century. But his near escape from dismissal grabbed the limelight. The incident took place in the 76th over. Aamir Jamal delivered a back-of-a-length ball just outside off stump. It nipped back in sharply, forcing Brook to play it late. He stabbed at the ball, sending it into the pitch. The ball bounced up, deflecting off his body and rolling back toward the stumps.

In a thrilling moment, the ball nudged against the stumps, yet the bails remained intact. Brook had a narrow escape, leaving fans on the edge of their seats. Luck was on his side this time as he narrowly escaped from a dismissal.
