With the lead in the series by 2-1, the management chose Ramandeep to continue playing in the team for his all-round ability, hoping he can contribute both with the bat and ball, adding depth to India’s lineup. 

“We are going to bat first. We have been doing that well in the last 2-3 games and we want to stick to that. The plan has been clear from the first game. Putting runs on the board and defending is something we have been wanting to do. It is a quick turnaround, one day gap between the games but the boys are professionals and are taking care of themselves. Same team.” Said Surya Kumar Yadav

India defeated South Africa by 11 runs in an exciting match at Centurion, taking a 2-1 series lead.

After opting to bat first, India posted 219 runs, led by Tilak Varma’s remarkable century at a 191 strike rate.
