“He’s growing in confidence and being himself more”: Nathon Lyon on Cameron Green

Australia and India are poised to meet in the World Test Championship (WTC) final on June 7, 2023, at the famous Oval Stadium in London. Australia will be making their first appearance in the WTC final, while India will be making their second appearance in the prestigious Test competition final.

Some Australian players have concluded their contracts with IPL franchises and have joined the national team’s camp. Cameron Green, who played for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League 2023, is currently in London to bolster Australia’s squad against Rohit Sharma and company in the mega-event, which is set to take place at the Oval.

Lyon believes Green’s debut Test performance against India in Ahmedabad, as well as his outstanding IPL campaign with the Mumbai Indians (MI), have improved his confidence.
