South Africa registered yet another exceptional win in the ongoing 2023 World Cup against the Bengal Tigers. The match was held at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium which was the 23rd match of the ongoing tournament. The Proteas recorded its fourth win today against Bangladesh after having faced a single defeat against Netherlands which came as a surprise to the whole of cricket world. South Africa also became the first team in the history of the World Cup to score 350+ runs for the most number of times while setting a target of 382 runs for Bangladesh today with a loss of 5 wickets.

De Kock on a run-hunt
South Africa’a Quinton de Kock expressed his extraordinary batting prowess while scoring an unbreakable 174-run century off 140 deliveries against Bangladesh. De Kock has been a dominant force and a key player for the Proteas in the previous matches as well and now he has achieved the feat again leading the board with becoming the highest run scorer. He is followed by Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma who smashed unbeaten runs against New Zealand in theatch 21 of the 2023 World Cup.
While South Africa’s Quinton de Kock leads the top position, its second player Heinrich Klassen made it to the 6th position while chasing 90 runs off 49 balls against Bangladesh today. He is followed by New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell who is further followed by Aiden Markram having scored 60 runs.
