From October 3, the ICC Women’s T20 World is kicking off its journey. The ninth edition of the tournament is set to excite the fans. The 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup was initially set to take place in Bangladesh. However, the International Cricket Council decided to shift the tournament to the UAE. 

India has participated in every edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup since its inception in 2009. They have made it to the semi-finals on five occasions, showcasing their consistent performance in the tournament. Harmanpreet Kaur-led Team India is all set to make a huge triumph. 

The last edition of the tournament was pure heartbreak. After having an amazing tournament, they faced a disappointing defeat in the semifinal against Australia. Team India is yet to lift the Women’s T20 World Cup. In 2020 they finished as the runner-up. But this time, with a mighty squad, and a determined mindset the Indian Women are set to conquer the big event.
