In their most recent Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL) game on April 22 in Lucknow, Hardik Pandya‘s Gujarat Titans pulled off an incredible comeback victory over Lucknow Super Giants. Hardik excelled at the plate, leading the way with 66 off 50. He also demonstrated strong leadership qualities as the Titans successfully held on to 135 as they won the match by seven runs in the last over. After the game, Hardik captured the interest of the crowd by trading jerseys with his brother Krunal.

Krunal also made a significant impact with the bat, scoring 23 runs at position three and posting figures of 2/16 with the ball. Despite controlling the bulk of the game, Lucknow Super Giants faltered in the final overs, and the spin all-rounder ultimately lost. On his Twitter account, Hardik posted a video of him trading jerseys with his older brother and the message “Only love my brother.”
Lucknow reached 128/7 in 20 overs thanks to Mohit’s masterful performance, falling seven runs short of the 136-run total.
The hitters who were dismissed were Deepak Hooda, Marcus Stoinis, Ayush Badoni, and Rahul. The first two were caught in the deep, but the last two were unable to complete the crucial double and were forced to return to the pavilion. If we look at the chase, Kyle Mayers and Rahul from LSG’s opening combination provided them a strong start. Prior to Mayers being dismissed for 24(19) by Rashid Khan, the pair had put up 55 runs for the first wicket. After joining the chase, Krunal Pandya and the LSG captain combined 51 runs for the second wicket before the latter was bowled out for 23 runs off of one ball. Shortly after, Nicholas Pooran was dismissed for 1(7).
Earlier, the LSG bowlers put on an outstanding performance, limiting Gujarat, who chose to bat first, to 135/6 in 20 overs. Before the wicketkeeper-batter fell for 47(37), Wriddhiman Saha and captain Hardik Pandya combined 68 runs for the second wicket after Shubman Gill was out for zero. Prior to being bowled out by Stoinis in the last over, Hardik scored 66 (50). Regarding LSG bowlers, Krunal claimed two wickets while only allowing 16 runs in his allotted overs.
In addition, Stoinis scalped two batsmen, both of whom were in the last over, and his three overs resulted in 20 runs. Amit Mishra and Naveen-ul-Haq each claimed a wicket.
