Suresh Raina is on top of the table with 193 matches. He has been a prominent member of Chennai Super Kings since 2008. When CSK was suspended for a couple of years, he represented the new interim franchise Gujarat Lions. Raina hasn’t just played the most matches in IPL history but also has been amongst the leading run-getters.
MS Dhoni is just three games behind on the list. He has featured in 190 IPL games. Just like Raina, he has been one of the top picks for CSK. And when the Chennai based franchise wasn’t there, he played for Rising Pune Supergiant.
Rohit Sharma who has represented Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians is third on the list. Dinesh Karthik, having played for 6 different teams, appears next with 182 matches.
