Saurabh Netravalkar, a left-arm fast bowler who excelled for the United States in the Men’s T20 World Cup this year, taking six wickets in as many games, has been called up to the Namibia trip later this month. However, Netravalkar, 33, will only participate in the ODI portion of the trip, particularly after missing the USA’s tour to the Netherlands since he was on paternity leave. Left-arm seamer Ayan Desai received his first call-up to the national team while he was away from the T20I team.
Vice captain Aaron Jones, a batter for the St Lucia Kings in the present Caribbean Premier League (CPL), will not be available for the USA. However, Andries Gous, one of the USA’s stars in the T20 World Cup, has been picked for the Namibia trip, meaning he will not be playing for the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) in the CPL for long.

On the other side, Smit Patel, who performed well in ODIs against the Netherlands, and Milind Kumar have been included on the Namibia tour, while former skipper and left-handed top-order batsman Steven Taylor has been ruled out due to injury.
USA will participate in ICC Cricket World Cup League Two 2023–27, with ODI matches against hosts Namibia and the UAE scheduled for September 16–26. Four Twenty20 Internationals against Namibia and the UAE will take place after the ODIs.
