Early Life and Cricket Journey
Ben Cutting was born in
Sunnybank, Queensland, Australia. From a young age, he showed great promise in
both batting and bowling. His tall frame and ability to bowl at good speeds made him a natural fast bowler.
His cricketing talent led him to play for
Queensland’s junior teams, and he was soon picked for
Australia’s U-19 squad. In 2006, he represented
Australia in the U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka.
Cutting’s all-round skills made him an asset, and he continued to progress through
Queensland’s domestic setup. He made his
first-class debut in 2007, marking the beginning of a successful cricketing career.

2009–10 season, Cutting was one of the top wicket-takers, claiming
46 wickets at an average of 23.91. His best performance came against Tasmania, where he took
6/37.

retirement from first-class and List A cricket to focus on
