They are all set to face the New Zealand side in a three-match Test series. In the Test series against Bangladesh, Virat Kohli struggled a bit with bat. Before stepping into the Test series against the Kiwis, Team India coach Gautam Gambhir made a big remark on him.

The wait for a classic Virat Kohli innings continued.

Gambhir’s Big Remark on Kohli:

There are two high-voltage Test series are lined up for Team India. Within two days, they will face New Zealand in a three-match Test series. At the end of this year, the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy is coming up. Before stepping into the long Test schedule, Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir said Virat Kohli is hungry to score runs. 

Gambhir said, “Virat Kohli is as hungry as ever, hopefully he will get runs here against New Zealand and then in Australia. We know how consistent he can get once he hits that phase”

As the new Test series is coming back, Team India is gearing up with their best. The final of the World Test Championship is Scheduled to take place in June 2025. The previous Test series are crucial for Team India. The victories in the home Test series against England and remarkable performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy can give them a huge advantage to appear in the WTC final match again.
