BCCI Announces WPL Schedule 2025, Baroda and Lucknow to Host Games

The BCCI has announced the schedule for Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025. The WPL 2025 season will be played in four cities: Baroda, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai. Matches will start on February 14 and end with the final on March 15.

WPL 2025 Opening Match in Baroda

The WPL 2025 Schedule begins on February 14 at the new BCA Stadium in Baroda. Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will play Gujarat Giants in the first game. Baroda will host six matches before the league moves to Bengaluru.

RCB fans can catch their team at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB’s first home game is on February 21 against Mumbai Indians. They will also play UP Warriorz, Gujarat Giants, and Delhi Capitals here on February 24, 27, and March 1.

Lucknow Debuts as WPL Venue 

Lucknow is hosting WPL games for the first time. UP Warriorz will play three matches at their home ground starting March 3. This brings the league to new fans in the city.

The Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai will host the last leg of WPL 2025. Mumbai Indians will play two home games against Gujarat Giants and RCB on March 10 and 11. The playoffs start with the Eliminator on March 13, and the final is on March 15.

Like WPL 2024, every game will be a single-header. This makes sure each match gets full attention from fans.
