IPL 2019

2019 IPL will be the 12th season of the Indian Premier League. IPL is one of the most loved tournaments of cricket. As IPL happens in April and May every year. But this time because of the Indian general elections IPL will start on 23rd March 2019. Finally, BCCI declared that the IPL 2019 will start on 23rd March. On 19 February, the BCCI released the timetable of the first 17 matches and on 19 March, they declared complete schedule of Indian Premier League season 12.

A Glimpse From the Last Season

IPL 2018 was the 11th season of Indian Premier League. After two years of a ban, the team Chennai Super Kings made a superb comeback and won the IPL title for the third time under the captaincy of  Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Team SRH was on the top of the IPL point table with 18 points and 0.284 Net Run Rate. Kane Williamson of Sun Risers Hyderabad was the leading run-scorer of the tournament and for that, he won the orange cap. Similarly, Andrew Taye of KXIP was the purple cap winner for taking most wickets in the tournament.

IPL 2019 Schedule

A total of 60 matches will be played in the tournament. The tournament's playoffs will be played from 7th to 10th May. And the big event IPL 2019 Final will be played on May 12, 2019. Here is the complete Schedule of IPL 2019.

Kolkata Knight Riders

Sunrisers Hyderabad
