Dinesh, entering the auction with a modest base price of INR 10 lakhs, quickly became the center of attention, with Gujarat Giants, UP Warriorz, and Royal Challengers Bangalore vying for her talents. After a spirited bidding war, it was UP Warriorz who triumphed with a winning bid of INR 1.30 crore, a testament to their belief in Dinesh’s cricketing prowess.
The 22-year-old’s journey to this lucrative deal is underlined by her stellar domestic performances. In the 2022-23 season, Dinesh showcased her batting prowess in the Senior Women’s One-Day competition, amassing an impressive 477 runs from 11 games at an average of 47.70 and a striking strike rate of 84.27.
