The ICC T20 World Cup, the epitome of international cricket excitement, has unveiled a striking new brand identity on December 7, capturing the inherent drama and energy of T20 cricket. The revamped visual identity mirrors the fast-paced action and high-octane moments that define T20 cricket.

Host Country-Inspired Textures and Patterns

The brand identity incorporates textures and patterns inspired by the host country for each World Cup edition. For the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, hosted by the West Indies and the USA, the logo pays homage to the palm trees of the West Indies and incorporates the ‘stripes’ of the USA, adding a unique and distinctive touch to the brand.

The logo itself is a creative fusion of the essential elements of T20 cricket – bat, ball, and energy. The T20 lettering transforms dynamically into a swinging bat, encapsulated within a dynamic ball. The striking graphic within the ball reflects the unique atmosphere and electric energy experienced in T20Is, with a zig-zag pattern alluding to rising excitement and heart-pounding moments.

ICC’s Vision for an Electrifying Experience

Claire Furlong, the ICC General Manager – Marketing and Communications, expressed the organisation’s excitement for the upcoming T20 World Cups, stating, “The ICC Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cups promise to deliver an electrifying and edge-of-your-seat experience to cricket fans globally, and we hope the new visual identity reflects that vision and energy.”

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled to be held in the West Indies and USA from June 4 to 30, promising cricket enthusiasts an enthralling six months of build-up to the tournament. Fans can now register their interest to receive World Cup information and ticket updates.
