Shubman Gill set to make a dazzling debut off the field

Shubman Gill, a star Indian batsman, is enjoying a wonderful season in the current IPL 2023, having amassed 469 runs in 11 matches at an average of 46.90 runs per game. The Gujarat Titans‘ standout batter, Gill, has demonstrated his superhuman abilities off the pitch as well. This season, Gill has been nothing short of a superhero with his bat.

The 23-year-old will provide the voice for the Spider-Man Across the Spiderverse film’s “Pavitr Prabhakar” character. The popular superhero, Spider-Man, will be included in the Indian setting of the movie, which will be distributed all over India. The Hindi and Punjabi versions of the movie feature the Indian cricketer’s voice.

Gill is shown glued to the ceiling like a spider in the Sony Pictures India trailer as others call for him to leave. The iconic Spiderman line, “Whether you’re a cricketer or a superhero, with great power comes great responsibility,” is spoken by the batsman as he eventually makes a big entrance.

Gill further said that he is excited to don this role.
