Tim David hides Kohli’s bat; Kohli’s reaction lights up RCB dressing room

Virat Kohli’s RCB sealed yet another important win in the ongoing IPL 2025 as the defeated Rajasthan Royals yesterday. The post-match celebrations in the dressing room included a little prank of Virat Kohli. RCB later shared the video on social media where Tim David could be leading the prank.

David’s prank on Kohli

Tim David hid one of Virat Kohli’s bat in the dressing room after the match. “I want to see how long it will take Virat to realise we have taken one of his bats,” David said in the video shared by RCB. Kohli looked clueless in the beginning while counting his bats. He said, “I counted my bats yesterday; it was seven. It’s six now.”

The teammates however were playing alongside David and waiting for the climax. Kohli later checked David’s kitbag where he found his bat. He practiced a little with the bat to confirm that it belonged to him and not Tim David. The banter saw Kohli using some words that were censored in the video.

Major win for RCB

Meanwhile, RCB claimed a 9-wicket win over RR where Kohli once again led the show with bat. He scored an unbeaten 62 off 45 balls which included four boundaries and two sixes. Phil salt (65) along with Kohli set the platform for the team in the 174-run chase. Their opening stand of 92 in 52 balls gave Bangalore the charge of the game from the beginning. Salt was dismissed in the ninth over but Kohli kept going.

Devdutt Padikkal joined as an impact player and scored a fluent unbeaten 40 off 28 balls. Padikkal and Kohli added 83* runs off 54 balls to win the match for Royal Challengers Bangalore with 15 balls remaining. With this win, RCB strengthened their position in the points table with four wins in six games. They are not standing in third place while Rajasthan Royals have moved to the eighth place.
