Indian cricketer Mukesh Kumar recently showcased his dance moves at his pre-wedding ceremony, grooving to a popular Bhojpuri song. In a viral video, Mukesh displayed his dancing skills during the Haldi ceremony, bringing an element of celebration to his wedding festivities.
Mukesh Kumar, a pacer in the Indian cricket team, took a leave of absence to celebrate his wedding ahead of the third T20I against Australia. The now-viral video captured the joyful moments of Mukesh’s pre-wedding ceremony, where he embraced the spirit of the occasion.
For the ceremony, Mukesh chose a black kurta, while the bride adorned a dark green ensemble with embellishments, creating a radiant and festive atmosphere. The video circulated widely on social media, capturing the joyous celebration of Mukesh Kumar’s union.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed Mukesh Kumar’s leave for his wedding, and he did not participate in India’s third T20I against Australia in Guwahati. Reports suggest that Mukesh and his wife, Divya Singh, will host a wedding reception on December 4, following the conclusion of the T20I series.
The BCCI statement explained, “Fast bowler Mukesh Kumar made a request to BCCI to be released from India’s squad ahead of the third T20I against Australia in Guwahati. Mukesh is getting married and has been granted leave for the duration of his wedding festivities. He will join the squad ahead of the 4th T20I in Raipur. Pacer Deepak Chahar has been added to India’s squad for the remainder of the series.”
Mukesh Kumar, who made his international debut earlier in the year, has played one Test, three ODIs, and seven T20Is. His absence in the third T20I against Australia allowed Deepak Chahar to join the squad as a replacement. The Indian cricket team currently leads the T20I series against Australia 2-1, with the penultimate fixture scheduled in Raipur on December 1.
As Mukesh Kumar enjoys the festivities of his wedding, his dance video added a lively touch to the cricket community, celebrating both his personal joy and the spirit of togetherness.
