Reportedly, The BCCI has been eyeing the fitness updates of Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav. Bumrah who suffered a back injury during the Sydney Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, denied the rumours of doctors suggesting him bed rest. On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav recently told in an interview that he recovered from the groin injury. The left-arm spinner has been away from action since Test series against New Zealand due to injury. He just played first Test against the Kiwis at home and then missed the entire BGT in Australia.
However, the BCCI will not be taking risk especially with Bumrah. Karun Nair meanwhile likely to be a point of discussion after his consistency in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Nair has so far scored 752 runs in seven innings with five centuries. Nair will lead Vidarbha in the final of the tournament that is scheduled to for Saturday, against Karnataka
