The history of cricket is nothing without the test matches. The first test match which occurred on 25th – 28th Jan in Hyderabad, England ended up on the winning side by defeating India by 28 runs. The mighty England is all set to win all the matches. Before England got on cloud nine, the Indian wicketkeeper – batsman KS Bharat sent a reminder to Ben Stokes about India’s ability to bounce back from an early defeat. Recent History also says that whoever loses the first match has high chances of winning the series.

Bharat’s message to his fans :

Bharat says not to worry ahead of the 2nd Test. Bharat in his recent press conference said “We are good at bouncing back after losing the first Test, so as a team we’re looking to do well. Ollie Pope, who has scored 198 runs has played a major anchoring role for the team and we lacked that. But like I said, we have bounced back previously as well so yeah, looking forward to this next challenge.

Bharat’s concern about the team’s combination:

Bharat understands that the current squad isn’t the most experienced. Without Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja the team combination has become a big problem. To encounter this, Rajat Patidar who has played enormously in the Indian Premier League, finally going to make his Test debut for India. With the batting line up with Rohit Sharma as opener, Gill and Shreyas Iyer are all prepared for the 2nd match. After their first encounter with England in the test, India has come down to No. 5 on the WTC table.

He also added, “After the game, the team’s atmosphere was completely relaxed. The coaches suggested to us not to panic, this is a long Test series and there’s a lot of scope that we can come back stronger. The message from the Captain was to play good cricket and focus on the positives and aim higher.
